He obviously likes video games

May 24, 2005 | Video Games, Links

I first saw this a while ago but it’s constantly showing up in other places so I have to post about it. I think whoever owns all this is beyond obsessed - I’m guessing he enjoys video games (it HAS to be a he…)

The reason people visit Binary Moon

| David Hasselhoff, General

BinaryMoon.co.uk has been around for years, but it’s only since I changed web host that I have been able to find out why people are visiting my site. My server logs now tell me what search engine queries people are using to find my site. Rather worryingly the main reason for people to visit my site is down to one, very small, insignificant post - this one.

That’s right. Most of my hits are down to David Hasselhoff fans… not video game players/ developers or web designers, fans of the Hoffmeister. Today’s David Hasselhoff search engine queries include the following:

So, in order to totally screw up my search engine rankings, and to try and get a few more visitors, I thought I would Google some of the more popular Hasselhoff sites and link to …

E3 Roundup

May 21, 2005 | Video Games

I wasn’t at E3 but I did try to keep up to date with the news updates.

As expected all three ‘next gen’ consoles have been announced, and frankly I’m underwhelmed. They all look fairly ugly with Nintendo making the closest to an attractive machine (it’s also the smallest).

However how the console looks matters little, it’s the games that are important. There were a few games that stood out for me, so I’ve done a little round-up of what I think was the best of show - the games I’m looking forward too.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

It’s Zelda - I don’t think I need to go into any more details. My ‘favourite game ever’ is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and it looks like Zelda: Twilight Princess has the potential to replace it.

Aesthetically the game is stunning, it’s definitely pushing the GameCube to it’s limits. …

Star Wars Episode III : Revenge of the Sith- Review

May 20, 2005 | Movies

I suspect there are going to be quite a few Star Wars reviews over the next few days so I’ll make this quick.

I like Star Wars Episode III : Revenge of the Sith!

The script was up to Georges usual standard, that is to say, incredibly cheesy; but you don’t watch a Star Wars movie if you want to be intellectually stimulated or wowed by Oscar worthy acting. Star Wars is a Saturday afternoon popcorn movie, and looked at like that it’s a hugely enjoyable piece of cinema.

The fight scenes are ridiculously fast and there are plenty of them. They are interspersed with ‘emotional’ scenes which could quite easily have been reduced, but they don’t get in the way of the kick ass combat.

There were a few things I wasn’t sure about - the Wookies were pointless and probably just there to please fans. The

Nintendo rumours

May 18, 2005 | Video Games

Lots of rumours and speculation about what Nintendo are up to at E3. Apparently there is going to be a big reveal some time today… at least that’s the theory.

Star Wars and really cool Nintendo stuff on one day - I’m a very happy man at the moment!

Update : The 19th has been and gone - I’ve seen Star Wars, but there is no sign of the rumoured Nintendo suprise. It’s a shame but I have faith Nintendo always seem …

E3 & New Zelda Screens

May 17, 2005 | Video Games, Links

More new Zelda screens can be found here they’re a lot cleaner than the shots seen previously.

I’m not going to be spreading any E3 joy until all the news is out. I suspect anyone that wants to read about E3 will have found plenty of other places to get their info. I’m going to be sticking to 4 color rebellion, with the occasional visit to GameTrailers.com

For anyone who doesn’t know what E3 is it’s the Electronic Entertainment Expo, probably the biggest event in the interactive entertainment industry calendar.
