MORE David Hasselhoff Stuff
This one's for Rob from LondonYesterday I was contacted by a person called Rob, who pointed out that David Hasselhoff was in this months .Net magazine. Not being a fan of .Net magazine I was a bit dubious but the lure of the Hoff overtook me so I had to have a read.
Basically the article is by a German who is constantly bombarded with comments from people who think all Germans love David Hasselhoff. He is trying to slow ...
Channel 4 – Game Guru Competition
Are you a budding games developer looking for somewhere to showcase your talent? Do you hunger for glory and recognition for your funky game designs? Either way, if you've written an original web game, we want to hear from YOU.
Channel 4 (a uk tv station) are running a competition for game developers and offering a brand new PC and £1000 as a prize. Sounds pretty good to me!
David Hasselhoff suicide bid and other Hasselhoff news
Some recent David Hasselhoff news for all his fans who insist on hitting my site when searching for him.
One of David Hasselhoffs fans was so besotted she jumped out of a window to get his attention.
In other news Tony Christie has accused David Hasselhoff of being self centered.
David has also argued for a talking car in the new Knight Rider movie (Kitt HAS to talk...). Looking the film up in IMDB I found out that ...
Small businesses are Big business
Seth Godin has posted a couple of articles about how the small business is best way forward... at least in terms of the web. Lot's of small businesses are currently taking off and becoming much larger, and generating much more traffic, than many of their larger rivals.
I couldn't agree more. Working at a 'small business', where you get to know everyone and work on everything is definitely the way forward.
Sin City
I went to see Sin City yesterday. I've never been a fan of comic books or graphic novels but this looked really nice, and being a sucker for anything that tries to be different, had to give it a try.
The film is styled very closely to it's source, pretty much everything is in black and white (mainly black) with the very occasional splash of ...
A new member of the family
Last weekend my parents got home from a hard day at work (they own a pet shop) and with them brought a new member of the family. We now have a pet dog.
He's not the first dog we've had, and is far from the only pet we've got in the house. Currently there are 3 cats, 3 tortoises, 2 rabbits, and 3 aviaries full of ...
Phallic Logo Awards
Look away if you're easily offended; it's perfectly safe for work and actually not very offensive at all (in my opinion) - but I figured I should give some sort of warning.
There is something very Freudian about these logo designs. The funny (worrying ?) thing is they were probably designed with the best of intentions. I'm not sure whether to be more concerned about the people that designed the logos or the people who thought they looked like winkies.
A stolen meme
It was my birthday last month (April) and my parents bought me a very cool mp3 player. It has only been on sale since the 20th of May so this week it finally arrived.
I decided not to get an iPod because... well... everyone's got one. So I asked for, what I thought, looked like a better option.
The Sony HD5 (the name isn't as catchy as the iPods) has a replacable, rechargable battery that lasts up to 30 ...
