Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
So… anyone else read it yet?
I bought my copy late Saturday morning, there were loads of copies available, and a rather miserable looking witch handing them out. I bought my copy in Bexleyheath, which is fairly close to where I live, and Alan Rickman was due to make an appearance and sign copies of the book. I couldn’t be bothered to wait around (he was already late when I decided to go home) but I must admit, having now read ...
Flash 8 – new feature demos
Since the release of the flash player 8 beta there have been a few, very clever people, who have managed to convert some flash 7 projects to flash 8 and demo the new features.

Macromedia have released a beta of Flash Player 8.

Chocolate for your password?
Apparently more than 70% of people would reveal their computer password in exchange for a bar of chocolate.
I’m willing to bet at least a few people lied just to get free chocolate – that’s what I’d do.
ICE – In Case of Emergency

Bob Brotchie, a clinical team leader for the East Anglian Ambulance NHS Trust, hatched the plan last year after struggling to get contact details from shocked or injured patients.
By entering the acronym ICE – for In Case of Emergency – into the mobile’s phone book, users can log the name and number of someone who should be contacted in ...
