Checked my gmail this morning to find I have been given a wordpress.com invite. For those who don't know wordpress.com is a new hosted blogging system - ideal for those who don't have the technical know how to set up a blog on their own site. When I signed up for updates site no-one knew what the service was (except for possibly the developers), and now that I know I'm not particularly interested.
Since I have Binary Moon I don't need another blog so I'm going to give away my invite. All you have to do to get it is post a comment on this post explaining why I should pick you and what you will do with the blog. The best (funniest/ most unusual) entry will get the ticket. Make sure you use a proper email address as that's where I'll send the invite.

why bother getting a give-a-way blog , when you can download the software for free anyway ?
Not everyone has, or can afford, webspace/ or maybe they just don't have the technical knowledge to do this themselves. Believe it or not there are people in the world who haven't heard of mysql or php who want to blog.
Based on your argument there isn't any point having a service like wordpress.com or the incredibly successful blogger.com - if you're not interested don't enter.
I would love to get the invite, I want to have a blog(go figure!) to mainly communicate with my family and friends and share some of my grafics and stuff. I hope you consider me.

I'd love an invite because I am 13, Australian and a pretty interesting person. I am a good, entertaining writer so I will be able to create humourous posts for all to enjoy.
I would also love to create a really cool wordpress blog like all the great ones all over the web...
...BUT the main reason is because I want to use it to secretly communiacate with other literate chickens in order to create world domination so all humans will walk around with chickens on their heads!
