Regulus in use
No file update yet, but I thought I’d make a post on the way Regulus has been used around the place.
The big news, at least for me, is that Regulus is now one of the themes on Wordpress.com.
Regulus has also been used on a more than a handful of sites around the world with a few modifying the theme to make it their own.
Ajax RegulusAjax Regulus is a mod of Regulus which makes use of all the latest ...
Canvascape – 3D Walker
With the newly released Firefox 1.5 and the slightly less recently released Safari 1.3, there is a new canvas object added to javascript. This means you can now draw things to the screen yourself. This has the potential to be pretty big, but also the potential to be abused – much like the otherwise lovely, not in the slightest bit tacky, rippling Java applets, that were so popular many moons ago.
Canvascape – 3D Walker is the first ...
Flash / Javascript Integration kit
This is more a note for myself than anything.
Macromedia have released a Flash and JavaScript integration kit, which makes it nice and easy to get flash to talk to javascript (and vice versa), something which has been rather difficult in the past.

Regulus – Now Available on wordpress.com
I turned on my computer yesterday to find that Matt, the lead developer on wordpress (the software used to run this site) had left a comment saying that Regulus was now in use on Wordpress.com.
Naturally the first thing I did was head over there to check it out and my wordpress.com blog now sports a shiny new style.
There are a few things that have changed. The main one being the admin panel being removed, but it’s ...
Treadmill Bike
Treadmill Bike – the successor to the ever popular bicycle. I’m sold, now where can I find a stockist in the UK?
Make sure you grab the sweet jumps video from the bottom of the page.

My first Hookah (aka what I did in Estonia)
Last weekend I went to Estonia. I haven’t travelled much so it was nice to get away for once, and when work is paying for everything (thanks work, I really enjoyed it) – I’d be silly to say no.
A photo of most of the people who went – I’m the one with the glowing shoes (I didn’t realise they lit up like that!).
I’d love ...
Web Professionals no more
Lot’s of talk about web professionals at the moment.
Those people still delivering nested table layout, spacer gifs or ignoring accessibility can no longer call themselves web professionals.
The quote that started everything off. In an interview with Accessify, Andy Clark talks about the future of web development.
I must admit I agree with pretty much everything that they are saying, and since they writer far better than me I’ll link to some of the better posts on the subject.
A web ...Movie Roundup November 05
I watch quite a few films and recently a lot of them have been really good. I’ve tried to do movie reviews before but am not convinced they turned out as well as they could have so I am going to try something different. Below are all the films I can remember watching over the last few months with single paragraph reviews of each. I think, from now on, I will do a movie round up once every few weeks.
