I watch quite a few films and recently a lot of them have been really good. I’ve tried to do movie reviews before but am not convinced they turned out as well as they could have so I am going to try something different. Below are all the films I can remember watching over the last few months with single paragraph reviews of each. I think, from now on, I will do a movie round up once every few weeks.
Danny the Dog (aka Unleashed)
Brilliant - elements of the story are a bit clichéd but Jet Li works wonders. The fighting (it’s a martial arts movie) is well choreographed by Yeun Wo Ping (of Matrix and Crouching Tiger fame). Google have released Google Analytics. It’s yet another website stat tracking tool, but it does some thing differently. Some of the more interesting features include being able to track outgoing and incoming links. This is very handy for advertising campaigns (something I intend to try on Binary Sun)
Along with the Analytics system (which is now running on Binary Moon), they have launched a Conversion University to try and educate people about generating traffic for their websites. I’m going to read it over the next few days to see what I can learn.

Along wth the new theme released today I have added a projects section to the main navigation. It’s not as pretty as I would have liked but it does what it needs too. I’ll play with how it looks in when I get some free time (yeah right!)
Towards the end of the Bubble Blitz developement I started work on my first Wordpress theme. The making of it kind of stopped and started for quite a while since there were things I wanted to do that I couldn’t.
The idea behind the theme was to create a very simple to customise theme for the novice blogger. One of the problems with Kubrick is that it’s the default theme for Wordpress but it is not straight forward to edit; therefore many sites use the default layout and don’t change anything. I wanted something that looked equally nice but could be changed easily so that there aren’t hundreds of sites out there using a single theme that look identical. Obviously I don’t expect there to be hundreds of sites using Regulus since it’s never going to be the default theme, but I figured I would make things easy to …
