One thousand paintings

Apparently this is a massive thing and everyone has been talking about it, so it must all have happened over the last couple of weeks since I have heard nothing.
Anyway One thousand paintings is an attempt to sell, um, 1000 paintings. Each painting is unique (featuring the numbers 1 - 1000), and each painting has a different price, with the lower numbers being more expensive (there is maths involved in the pricing - read the site for more info).
Like the million dollar homepage before it this idea has huge viral appeal. The idea is unique and since over half the paintings have been sold has clearly taken off in a big way.
Because of the pricing structure the fewer painting left the cheaper things get (shouldn’t it be the other way around?) so there is more incentive to buy. If he doesn’t sell every picture I will be very …
