A couple of college students found the set of Lost whilst on their hols in Hawaii. Check out the photos on Flickr - there are a few things on there that look rather new (the cage) and it will be fun to see where they come into the next series.

Was pointed towards Aram Bartholl recently. I studied art at both school and university and never really took to the modern variety. There was some cool stuff being done but in general it didn’t interest me. However when it’s coupled with video games modern art becomes the best thing ever…
- Speed - Bringing Need for Speed into the real world
- First Person Shooter
- de_dust - I like the subtlety of this one. Most people wouldn’t understand but those that know would love it (at least I do)
- Wow - I can think of a few times when this would have been handy to have

Unless something amazing happens I need never post another Hasselhoff video again… ever!
Because the chaps over at RagRap have gone and posted the “Top 50 David Hasselhoff Videos“.
I must admit I have been going off the Hoff recently so it’s unlikely I will mention him again for a while. I know he has loads of fans out there so I’m sure you can find another site to get all your Hoff based news.
Sony have tried it a couple of times with the Net Yaroze on the original PlayStation and then the Linux dev kit on the PS2 but nether really picked up the way you would imagine.
The idea of going back to gamings routes, with people copying endless reams of code from magazines, not understanding what it means and praying that they will get some sort of enjoyable game out at the end, is enticing.
Microsoft have decided it’s their turn giving smaller indiependant developers the oppurtunity to share their creations (with the possibility of being picked up for XBLA?).
In my opinion one of the reasons the Net Yaroze was a failure was that there was no way to distribute your creation. There is little point creating a game if nobody can play it but now, with broadband and the high uptake in Xbox Live …
A genius piece of marketing by Coca Cola.

Okami has been in development for absolutely ages but it’s looking more and more gorgeous. 1up.com has just launched an Okami microsite where they are posting previews and interviews with the developers.
Okami looks like it’s going to bring a breath of fresh air to what is becoming a rather stale genre (despite my anticipation and excitement Zelda hasn’t really progressed beyond it’s origins). The game is worth it for the artistic style alone. The fact it looks like it’s fun as well is the icing on the cake.
Anyway head over there and check it out.
You can also see a gameplay video over on Binary Joy (hmmm - another binary website…)
