Was pointed towards Aram Bartholl recently. I studied art at both school and university and never really took to the modern variety. There was some cool stuff being done but in general it didn’t interest me. However when it’s coupled with video games modern art becomes the best thing ever…
- Speed - Bringing Need for Speed into the real world
- First Person Shooter
- de_dust - I like the subtlety of this one. Most people wouldn’t understand but those that know would love it (at least I do)
- Wow - I can think of a few times when this would have been handy to have
A lot of these will be pretty vague to the average person but videogamers should understand them all. Very cool.
