Wonderlost - Alice in Wonderland

I love gothic art, and I love stylised art so Wonderlost - which seems to be the sort of thing you would get if you let Tim Burton create porcelain dolls - is right up my street.
The Wonderlost series is my artistic interpretation and dark twist on the numerous characters from Lewis Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking Glass” stories. The theme across the whole series is to give each character the look of a porcelain doll, with very pale bleach white skin and bleached white clothing.
The pictures, despite being light in colour, are incredibly dark in tone and I love that sort of thing.

Ah, the places you find Alice in Wonderland these days. Right now, waiting for me to finish up with the last of my school work, is another adaptation book of the story (The Looking Glass Wars), with the playing cards as transformers. Transformers! The front illustrations alone are worth the price of a hardback.
Thanks for the link, I probably would have missed this otherwise.
