Harry Potter fanfic

The BBC are reporting on Francisca Solar, a 23 year old lady from Chile, who wrote a Harry Potter fanfic - a sequel to the 5th book, Order of the Pheonix, it is called “Harry Potter and the Decline of the High Elves” and tells the story the way she thought it should be told.

The story ended up becoming massively popular and Francisca now has a deal for a trilogy of books, of which the first has just been completed, based on her own original stories.

Unfortunately the Harry Potter story is in Spanish, so I can’t read it but if anybody knows of an English translation I would love to hear about it. Something else to note is that the “fanfic”, which normally means a short story, is actually longer than the book it’s based on! If anyone knows any more about this I would be interested to hear.
