Battle of Normandy … on a shoestring
3 blokes + a video camera, a pc or two, and a few days of hard work, loads of imagination, and what do you get? See the video below for your answer.
Part of my degree was special effects, and whilst I did the basics (green screening etc) there is no way I could do anything like this - it turned out incredibly well... especially considering there's only 3 people ...

My girlfriend Jo and I have recently (actually... 2 weeks ago - I've been too busy to write it up :-S) gotten back from a holiday in California, which is last months excuse for the lack of posts on my blogs. The primary purpose of the trip was to go to a science conference for Jo's PhD which was held in San Diego, but we decided to hang around for a few extra days and enjoy the sights.
