No More April Fools

In my younger days (yes, I’m sounding old), April 1st was a day to look forward to. A time of joy and innocent jokes.

Well no more. Over the last 3 or 4 years April Fools day has slowly become one of my least favorite days online. It’s a day when everyone with a blog or website suddenly decides they have a sense of humour and it’s time to share it with everyone else.

All of the jokes have gone from fun tom foolery to attempts to convince people that something is real that isn’t – even to the extent that last year some websites were posting April Fools 24 hours early so that people didn’t realise they were April Fools… what’s the point of that?

Well my message to you is that Binary Moon (and all of my websites) is, and always will be, an April Fools free zone.

    • Glad you like the design – it was my quickest post in a while. Normally the art directed ones take me ages but I thought of the post in the shower getting ready for work and did the entire thing before I left. Did have to skip breakfast though :S

Um, no. They were probably across the International Date Line (Australia, for example). Their April 1st is our March 31.
