Happy New Year
It's actually been new year in the UK for 20 hours now. To tell the truth I'm not really one for celebrating things like this. The way I see it it's just a day like any other, people just use it as an excuse to get drunk the night before.
However not wanting to sound like a totally miserable git, I thought I'd wish everyone a Happy New Year.

9rules – here I come
Well, towards the end of last month, the 9rules team had a round of submissions to join their network. I submitted Binary Moon, never really expecting to get in, and on the first of December got an email from Paul, the head honcho, asking if I wanted to join.
I said yes.
Why did I join? Not sure really. Obviously there was the traffic aspect, there's no point ...
EbayEd – Ebay Image Editor
About 5 months ago my Mum started using Ebay, she asked me to take some photos that she could use to show off what she was trying to sell - which I did. Problem was they were massive, I always take my photos at the highest size my camera supports (4/5 mega pixels, can't remember exactly and too lazy to find out) and uploading a 3+ meg photo that will then be shrunk to 400 x 400 is pretty pointless, ...

They didn't have my brand of glasses but otherwise this is a pretty much how I look. I don't know if anyone's noticed but I added a photo of me to the about page as well.

Last weekend I went to Estonia. I haven't travelled much so it was nice to get away for once, and when work is paying for everything (thanks work, I really enjoyed it) - I'd be silly to say no.

WordPress.com Invite up for grabs
Checked my gmail this morning to find I have been given a wordpress.com invite. For those who don't know wordpress.com is a new hosted blogging system - ideal for those who don't have the technical know how to set up a blog on their own site. When I signed up for updates site no-one knew what the service was (except for possibly the developers), and now that I know I'm not particularly interested.

What I do at Miniclip
I do lots of different things during my day job at Miniclip.com, web design, graphic design, animation, and programming - I have to turn my hand to whatever is required, and I seem to be working on something different every day - it's great. Where there’s smoke there’s fire?
Packing up to leave work the other day there was a bit of commotion outside the office window. We went over to investigate and found that a flat opposite us appeared to be on fire. We saw at least three fire engines go past and everything seemed to be under control fairly quickly. From where we were there wasn't any fire visible, but there was an awful lot of smoke.
