Top 17 – UK celebs on Twitter
There have been celebrities on Twitter (follow me here) for quite some time but over the last couple of weeks there has been a huge surge of them joining in the UK. I've seen Twitter mentioned on a number of tv shows, and heard it on a couple of radio stations. It's also been mentioned on some prominent UK news websites.
Apologies in advance to people outside of the UK - I am pretty sure I'll mention a fair few ...
Snow Day(s)
There's been a lot of snow in the UK over the last few week. Apparently we've not had snow like this in 18 years. The whole of the South East of England pretty much shut down - London was almost empty, and I had a day working from home.
On Sunday last week it all started and I went out with my girlfriend and built a snowman, in fact over the two days of non-stop snow we managed to build three ...
Back into the groove…
Nearly a whole month and no posts... What is the world coming too?
I don't know why but ever since Christmas I have been feeling motivated to do all sorts of things - unfortunately blogging isn't one of them.
Last year was a busy one for me, both at home and at work, and if I can do half the things I have planned this year, then it'll be even busier still.
Recently I've been feeling very creative; I've been playing a lot ...
6 reasons why Lego is the best toy ever!
I have recently been looking into Lego for a project I am working on, and have come to realise that I still really really like it. Despite being 28 Lego still has the same sense of fun it had when I was 5 and I got to thinking about why.

Chrome – first thoughts
Yesterday Google released Chrome, a brand new web browser onto an unsuspecting internet. You've probably been inundated with all sorts of opinions and views on it, but I'm going to give me tuppence as well.
PlusIt's fast. Very fast Webkit - the Safari rendering engine. Not used Safari much but it is well known for being pretty strong, and fast. It seems to be the closest we're getting to a standard ...Ben and Jerry (and Jo)
Last weekend my girlfriend and I went to the Ben and Jerries Sundae festival (on Sunday no less). This is a small festival on Clapham Common in London, England. It's run by Ben and Jerries ice cream and has a variety of partners within, all promoting green things (renewable energy etc), and generally being nice and ethical - all things I believe quite strongly in.
There was also a stage with live ...
Seven useless pieces of information about me
Last week I got tagged by Gnorb. I was going to write something clever about how I normally turn these things down because everyone does it and they're so passé... but to be honest I'm flattered to even be considered, and I haven't seen a meme in months - so here goes.
I have to tell you seven random peices of information (that you may not know) about myself.
Despite all the violent video games I play and martial arts films ...Anti smoking video game (advert)
My outlook on life is quite liberal. In general I am happy for people to do whatever they like, as long as it doesn't affect others in a negative way.
However smoking is something I am very much against. To start with, the whole idea of smoking just doesn't appeal to me. I have never smoked... and I never will. More importantly I have seen the effects of excessive smoking - about a year ago my Grandfather had one of his ...
