Okami Preview
Okami has been in development for absolutely ages but it's looking more and more gorgeous. 1up.com has just launched an Okami microsite where they are posting previews and interviews with the developers.
Okami looks like it's going to bring a breath of fresh air to what is becoming a rather stale genre (despite my anticipation and excitement Zelda hasn't really progressed beyond it's origins). The game is worth it for the artistic style alone. The fact ...
Nintendo DS – Web Browser preview
There is a video of the new (released in early October in the UK) web browser for the DS online. The browser shown is all in Japanese but it shows off the features perfectly well. I think it will be brilliant, and it means I can use the internet more easily on the move. It's on my wish list!

Nintendo give George W Brain Age: Train your brain for his birthday
Nintendo recently did, what has to be, the best piece of marketing ever. They gave the President of the USA, George W Bush, a Nintendo DS Lite with Brain Age: train your brain in minutes a day for his birthday.
Genius. Pure, unadulterated brilliance.
How better to get your brand name out there than to give your product to one of the most influential men in the United States of America?
The game is pretty good as well.
Please accept ...
Web Game : Monkey Kick Off
One of my friends from work has his own online games site. I don't think I have mentioned it before, but since he has recently released a new game I thought it was the perfect time to say something.
The main game site is Totebo.com, but the reason for this post is Monkey Kick Off.
Notice that I have sent you a link to my personal best so that you ...
Another E3 round-up
Matt Brett has put my woeful attempt at an E3 round-up to shame with his write ups so I'll just link through to him from now on.
Post E3 thoughts : Nintendo Post E3 thoughts : Sony Post E3 thoughts : MicrosoftI'm going to use my delight over the Nintendo Wii, and the new Zelda game, as an excuse for my lack of... well... anything.
Final Fantasy III
Final Fantasy III is coming to the DS.
"What?" I hear you scream - yep it's gone back a few numbers. Version III has never been released outside of Japan - so they are letting us complete the series. Personally I have only ever played the 3d Final Fantasy games (numbers 8 and 9) and this game will be no exception. Square have gone and remade the entire game in 3d just for the DS.
You can see the E3 game ...
New Super Mario Brothers
I am almost as excited about this as I am about the new Zelda game (almost, but not quite).
Head on over to the official, New Super Mario Brothers, website to get all the info you could need. Of particular interest is the multiplayer mode, something Mario games have been a bit rubbish at in the past. It all looks wonderful, with 3d graphics presented in a 2d plane ...
Nintendo Wii (console formerly known as Revolution)
All the gaming blogs I read this morning have announced the official name of the Nintendo Revolution (see above).
To me the name is a little suspect. It looks ok on paper, but saying it out loud just encourages toilet humour.
Introducing… Wii. As in “we.†While the code-name “Revolution†expressed our direction, Wii represents the answer. Wii will break down that wall that separates video game players from everybody else. Wii will put people more in touch with their games… and each other. But you’re ...
