Lego Video Games
Ok, so it's not part of the Lego Star Wars, or Lego Indiana Jones, but a few Lego and video games fanatics have recreated some classic video games with the colourful plastic building blocks.

FFVII: Advent Children dated
Final Fantasy Advent Children now has a UK release date. Hoorah
Final Fantasy : Spirits Within looked stunning, but it suffered from the uncanny valley effect, and a rather convoluted confusing story. The new film has used a more cartoony/ manga style sidestepping the whole realism aspect, and giving the possibility of more exagerrated action.
I'm looking forward to it.
The making of Shadow of the Colossus
A very interesting article on the developement of Shadow of the Colossus - the PS2 game that is due to come out in England in a couple of weeks. The article is very technically oriented so if you're not into game development it probably won't be of interest, but anyone who is interested - there are quite a few cool techniques that you may be able to 'borrow' from.
How do people play games?
An interesting experiment to see how people play video games. They used the NES version of Gradius to see what decisions people make whilst playing. The people who played this game are clearly very good at it (at least better than me) and the thing has been presented as a single video with all the players overlaid so that you can see who does what. Nintendo DS redesign
I got a Nintendo DS for Christmas (I'll talk about it later) but Nintendo are now talking about the redesigned version.
Yesterday they said we wouldn't see a redesign before E3, today they have released the first information, including images, of the Nintendo DS Lite - a redesigned DS.
Nintendo have gone very Apple with their recent designs (does anyone else thing the new console looks like the Revolution controller?) - I don't see that as a bad thing.

Rocket Boards is a super fast 3D rocket boarding action. My first "commercial" (shareware) product. Didn't do amazingly well but was a good learning experience
Bubble Bomb is a polished update of a game originally built by Warren Marshal (who works at Epic games - developers of Unreal and Gears of War)
My own update of Bubble Bomb, Bubble Blitz was almost a total rewrite adding loads of new features and a shiny new look.
Seths Puzzle Boxes is a puzzle game with a surprisingly enjoyable story line, unfortunately it's quite short so won't take long to complete, but while it lasts is great fun.
