New Miniclip website
I have been rather quiet on the blogging front recently and there have been two reasons for this. Number 1 - well... see the title of this post, and number 2? I'll explain that one in a week or so.
Anyway a couple of weeks ago (10th of July 2006) the new Miniclip website was released. For those who don't know Miniclip is the company I work for, as a web/ game designer.
For the last 7 months we have ...
WordPress tips and tricks – comments, trackbacks, and query_post
Over the last year and a bit Binary Moon has slowly evolved. Rather than redesign my site every few months I have chosen to update and improve as I go. Doing this I have added a few little features that I think are quite cool, so thought I would share my code in case you find it handy as well.
You have left a comment...This ones easy. When people leave comments you want to show them a small message letting them ...
Regulus – WordPress Theme version 2.1.2
A small update with a few new features. The reason for this post, rather than updating the last post, is that I now consider Regulus complete. Barring any show stopping bugs there will be no new updates to Regulus, it's time to more on.
The change log since the last release is (this includes the changes for version 2.1.1 which went out silently) ...

It's been a while since I updated Regulus but with the recent release of widgets I had to do something.
The success of Regulus has gone beyond my wildest expectations, and I really appreciate all the support and feedback I have been given.
The updateThere are a whole slew of new things added to the latest version of Regulus. The biggies are support for the widgets plugin, and the ability to chose your own header image. The full list of ...
Regulus 2.0
Regulus has been far more popular than I ever imagined it would be. So popular, in fact, that I have already created version 2.0
ChangesVersion 2.0 has been created specifically for WordPress version 2.0 (hence the name change) and features a number of new features. From the outside it looks the same, with the exception of the 4 new header images and the extra colour scheme, but underneath it uses the new theme system built directly into wordpress 2.0

No file update yet, but I thought I'd make a post on the way Regulus has been used around the place.
The big news, at least for me, is that Regulus is now one of the themes on WordPress.com.
Regulus has also been used on a more than a handful of sites around the world with a few modifying the theme to make it their own.

Regulus – Now Available on wordpress.com
I turned on my computer yesterday to find that Matt, the lead developer on wordpress (the software used to run this site) had left a comment saying that Regulus was now in use on WordPress.com.
Naturally the first thing I did was head over there to check it out and my wordpress.com blog now sports a shiny new style.
There are a few things that have changed. The main one being the admin panel being removed, but it's ...
Regulus – New WordPress Theme released
Towards the end of the Bubble Blitz developement I started work on my first WordPress theme. The making of it kind of stopped and started for quite a while since there were things I wanted to do that I couldn't.
The idea behind the theme was to create a very simple to customise theme for ...
